Consult Liaison Psychiatrist Category: Physician Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, No Rotation Remote Type: On-site Location: Newark, Delaware ChristianaCare seeks a full‑time clinical psychiatrist (approximately 32 minimum patient‑facing hours) to join our academically focused Consultation‑Liaison team within the Behavioral Health Service Line. The role involves providing psychiatric consultation services for patients admitted to inpatient medical and surgical units and the emergency department, collaborating closely with medical teams, and teaching psychiatric residents and multidisciplinary trainees. The position may cover both the Newark and Wilmington campuses as needed. Responsibilities Provide psychiatric consultation services for patients admitted to inpatient medical and surgical units and the emergency department. Collaborate closely with medical teams to deliver integrative, patient‑centered care. Teach psychiatric residents and multidisciplinary trainees. Cover, as required, both Newark and Wilmington campuses. Maintain approximately 32 patient‑facing hours per week. Qualifications Board‑eligible or Board‑certified in Psychiatry. Fellowship training in Consultation‑Liaison Psychiatry is preferred. Eligibility to obtain a Delaware medical license.
