About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading the financial strategy and operational performance. The successful candidate will be the top finance leader and a key member of the executive team, responsible for guiding critical decisions that foster growth, profitability, and long-term stability. This executive will direct the overall performance of the finance organization, oversee the monthly close cycle, and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial packages. They will also be tasked with shaping financial strategy, managing cash flow, and guiding decisions related to capital structure. Building and maintaining strong partnerships with various stakeholders is essential, as is the establishment of financial reporting standards and internal controls. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the homebuilding industry. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and executive-level reporting, as well as expertise in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management. A solid knowledge of land acquisition, lot development, and related financing structures within homebuilding is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. A Certified Public Accountant designation is strongly preferred.
