Physical Therapist II

Role Full-time Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing therapy services to address physical dysfunction and pain, promoting patient independence. Key Responsibilities: Conduct therapy evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide patient and family education, participate in team conferences, document care, initiate discharge planning, and recommend equipment needs. Engage in peer review, performance improvement activities, and provide inservice education to staff. Mentor and supervise lower-level staff and assistive personnel, while guiding students during clinical experiences. Maintain compliance and seek guidance as needed, fulfilling all departmental and organizational responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills FIM certification in Physical Therapy rehab settings and CPR certification. Bachelor's degree with at least one year of experience. Strong manual skills, motor coordination, and ability to perform physically demanding tasks up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in environments with exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and human waste.
