We are looking for an organized Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to support core people operations for a Contract position based in New York, New York. This role focuses on delivering a smooth onboarding experience, coordinating screening activities, and maintaining accurate employee records within HR systems. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative skills, attention to compliance requirements, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, ensuring each step is completed accurately and on schedule from offer acceptance through start date.
• Manage screening processing by initiating screenings, tracking results, and following up on outstanding items in alignment with company policies.
• Maintain employee information in HRIS platforms, updating records promptly to support data accuracy and reporting needs.
• Provide day-to-day HR administrative support, including document preparation, record organization, and responses to routine employee inquiries.
• Monitor onboarding and employment documentation to help ensure adherence to applicable HR compliance standards and internal guidelines.
• Partner with recruitment teams and internal stakeholders to collect required paperwork, confirm deadlines, and support a positive candidate-to-employee transition.
• Review and organize personnel files to ensure required forms and employment records are complete, current, and properly maintained.• Experience supporting onboarding, employee records management, or HR coordination activities.
• Working knowledge of hiring documentation processes and related administrative requirements.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and confidence entering, maintaining, and verifying employee data.
• Understanding of HR compliance practices, including document accuracy and record retention standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with candidates, employees, and internal teams.
• High attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive personnel information.
