Compliance Assistant

Risk Management Compliance Support

Performs supportive duties for the Risk Management Compliance department, including taking calls from drivers and monitoring hours of service.

Role And Responsibilities

* Serves as point of contact for individuals with questions regarding hours of service or e-logs.

* Verifies hours of service records in accordance with DOT regulations and Company policies.

* Provides coaching to drivers based on critical events and reports any patterns to appropriate management.

* Tracks drivers on required apnea therapy to ensure compliance and to troubleshoot equipment issues if necessary.

* Monitors DOT inspection reports, verifies equipment repairs are complete, and processes tickets for payment.

* Researches, compiles, and tracks reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.

* Serves as point-of-contact for other departments with HOS questions.

* Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with others.

* Receives and carries out instructions.

* Manages regular and predictable attendance.

* Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

Associates degree; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements

* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

* Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
