Front of House Manager (Bar Experience Required)

Position Overview

The Front of House Manager is responsible for leading daily dining room and bar operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role oversees service standards, team development, beverage operations, inventory management, and operational execution.

Success in this position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and coach a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• 5-day work week
• Approximately 50–55 hours per week
• Primarily evenings and weekends
• No late-night operations

Primary Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop bartenders, servers, hosts, and support staff.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture.
• Train and mentor employees while reinforcing company standards.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily goals and expectations.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and performance coaching.

Guest Experience

• Ensure every guest receives exceptional hospitality and service.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout each shift.
• Build lasting relationships with guests and the local community.

Restaurant Operations

• Oversee daily Front of House and bar operations.
• Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and organization are consistently maintained.
• Support food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Assist with scheduling and labor management.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and operational procedures.

Beverage Program

• Manage liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage inventories.
• Assist with beverage ordering and cost control.
• Monitor product quality and proper rotation.
• Support the growth of CONRAD'S craft beer program through staff education and guest engagement.

Communication & Accountability

• Collaborate with the Senior Operations Team to achieve company goals.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Hold team members accountable while creating an environment built on respect and integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
• Strong bar management or high-volume bartending experience required.
• Experience managing beverage inventories and ordering.
• Knowledge of craft beer, wine, and cocktails preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
