Job Description As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Processing in Goodyear, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and documenting security-related activity. You will provide outstanding customer service, use technology to support access operations, and may drive as part of assigned duties. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $19.55 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors and contractors, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records. Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic at assigned entry points, communicate access requirements, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, business spaces, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
