About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand required Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: - Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for - Must work at least every other holiday - Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation Description: The position is for a registered nurse specializing in Med/Surg Tele. The role may require floating to various units to care for the same patient population. Shifts are variable and may rotate depending on the operational needs. A strong commitment to patient care and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams is essential. Candidates must have current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS at the time of submission. All references must come from a professional within the specialty applying for, not co-workers. Candidates with any background checks or license issues will not be accepted. Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free requirements. All other travelers must be nicotine-free and pass a drug screen within 12 months of start. Candidates must complete necessary background checks and fingerprints within the specified time. Extensions for contracts may be granted under certain conditions. Compliance with annual hands-on competencies is required for continuous contracts.
