About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in the specialty applying for required. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required. Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: - Previous experience in the specialty applying for is required. - Must work at least every other holiday. - Must complete assessments during orientation with acceptable scores. - Reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. Description: Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg Tele specialty. Potential to float to other units to care for similar patient populations. Rotating shifts are required, including 12-hour night and day shifts. Shifts may vary to meet operational needs. Traveler must have 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty. Must hold a permanent Ohio or compact state license in hand at the time of application. All required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of application. A comprehensive background check will be conducted. Open cases or license violations will lead to disqualification. Compliance with nicotine-free requirements is mandatory for travelers (not applicable for Nurses and CSTs). Travel candidates must complete background checks and additional requirements within specified timelines. Travel contracts may extend, but a break period is required after 18 months. Annual competency requirements are applicable for travelers who remain on contract for a minimum of one year. Modules will be billable, with specific time allocated for training.
