Accounts Receivable Manager

Position Overview We’re seeking an experienced AR Manager to lead collections strategy, billing operations, and process development across the full accounts receivable function. This role will oversee automated billing systems, manage customer and distributor relationships, and partner closely with leadership to build scalable AR structure, policies, and long-term strategy. You’ll also manage and develop a small AR team (1–2 staff). Key Responsibilities AR Leadership & Strategy Own the full AR lifecycle, including billing, collections, and customer account management Drive reduction of aged receivables (60+ days) through effective systems and enforcement Oversee automated billing and collection workflows to ensure accuracy and consistency Ensure all invoices are issued correctly, revenue is fully captured, and balances are collected timely Manage, train, and develop a small AR team (1–2 direct reports) Set daily priorities, workflows, and performance expectations Partner with leadership on scaling the AR function as the business grows Qualifications 5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience, ideally in a growing or product-based organization Strong background in collections, billing systems, and AR process development Experience managing high-volume AR with accuracy and ownership Strong communication skills with external customers and internal stakeholders Highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working independently Thrives in a “build-and-scale” environment Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Full-time Job Function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries Accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr Ascendo Resources
