Job Description
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist


Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00)


Experience: Minimum 1 year, NICU experience preferred


License: Valid CRT or RRT License required


Certifications: BLS, NRP


Must-Have: Experience with EPIC charting preferred


Description:
Shift schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts each week.
Minimum one year of experience is required, with NICU experience preferred.
BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
A valid CRT or RRT license is required for this position.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend shifts are required every other week.
Open to accommodating block scheduling.
Local candidates are also accepted.
No pending licenses will be accepted.
There are no restrictions on time off, except a maximum of five days in a 13-week assignment.
Holidays do not allow any time off requests.
Travelers must complete a compliance call within 48-72 hours of signing.
Attendance policy is strict; any missed shift counts as unexcused.
Two missed shifts result in a warning, while three or more may lead to cancellation.
Preferred skills include experience in adult critical care, various respiratory support techniques, and tracheostomy care.
Daily patient census is variable, with experiences across different age groups including neonates, infants, adults, and geriatrics.
Staffing and scheduling details will maintain patient ratios at 20.
No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests are permitted.
Traveler must not have been previously employed as a traveler or permanent staff within the organization.
Traveler must agree to complete all modules before starting the assignment.
