Circulating Nurse – Main Operating Room Location & Shift Orange, California Day – 08hrs (United States of America) Job Summary We are hiring a full‑time Registered Nurse for the Main Operating Room. Candidates must have at least one year of circulating RN experience and a minimum of six months in a pediatric setting. Responsibilities Plan and deliver family‑centered patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established clinical practice standards. Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve effective and efficient care. Maintain documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Adapt to unexpected changes in workload or staffing while upholding care quality. Support the organization’s vision and mission, promoting excellence in nursing care. Compensation Minimum rate: $56.96 per hour Midpoint: $74.05 per hour Maximum: $91.14 per hour Experience Required: Minimum one (1) year of acute care nursing experience with six (6) months in a pediatric setting. Preferred: One (1) year of acute care nursing in a pediatric inpatient hospital. Education Required: Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing; Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) (effective on all offers made after November 1, 2015). Specialized Skills Knowledge of family‑centered patient care appropriate for age, culture, and spiritual needs. Excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills. Strong prioritization, organizational, and documentation abilities. Collaborative and positive teamwork orientation. Flexibility and creativity in response to workload changes. Commitment to high standards of patient care and continuous improvement. Licensure Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Registered Nurse – CA (RN). Preferred: Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN). Work Environment Functional Demand: Light – Moderate energy level. Physical activities include lifting 25‑35lbs, pushing/pulling 50‑100lbs, bending, reaching, and standing. Requirements for color discrimination, depth perception, hearing, and vision. Exposure to communicable disease, bloodborne pathogens, and environmental hazards typical of an operating room.
