Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Clearlake, California. Start date: 08/10/2026. 9-week travel assignment with 3x12-hour nights. Weekly pay between $2,441 and $2,471 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Setting: care unit focused on women's health, spanning from obstetric to postpartum and neonatal care up to 28 days of life.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to women across the lifespan served in the unit, from childbearing through geriatric years, and to infants up to 28 days old.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, supervise staff, and delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Assess patients, develop an individualized plan of care, implement interventions, and document patient response in the medical record.
- Administer medications and IV fluids per policy, including narcotic control, and maintain safety in administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians; deliver patient and family education; participate in handoffs and shift reports.
- Maintain unit readiness, ensure a clean and safe environment, and demonstrate professionalism in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in California
- Experience in a Women’s Care Unit or obstetric/gyne-related care is preferred
- Ability to provide age-appropriate nursing care from infant through geriatric populations
- Proficiency in assessment, care planning, documentation, and effective communication
- Availability to work the designated shift (3x12-hour nights) and participate in a 9-week assignment
