The Opportunity

Based in Phoenix, SUNVEK Roofing is seeking a General Manager to lead and scale an established business across Phoenix and Tucson. This role carries full P&L ownership and real autonomy, paired with the support, systems, and capital of a well-resourced platform and a proven playbook with a track record of successful growth.

You will run the business day to day and take it to its next level of performance. That means leading, supporting, and developing the team, managing financial performance, tightening operations, driving disciplined growth, and delivering an excellent customer experience. This is a hands‑on role for an operator who knows operations and leads from the front, and who wants to build something meaningful and lasting with institutional support behind them.

Key Responsibilities

P&L Ownership and Financial Performance

• Own and manage the full profit and loss of the business
• Drive consistent, profitable growth through disciplined execution
• Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and KPI reporting
• Make data-driven decisions related to pricing, labor, materials, and operating expenses
• Set expectations and drive continued success of an established leadership team

Sales and Growth Leadership

• Build, train, and lead a high-performing sales organization in partnership with the sales leader
• Improve conversion rates, close rates, and average job size
• Partner closely with marketing to maximize lead quality and speed to lead
• Identify opportunities to expand services and grow across the Phoenix and Tucson markets

Team and Culture

• Recruit, develop, and retain strong leaders and frontline team members
• Build a performance-driven, people-oriented culture rooted in accountability and trust
• Coach and develop managers across sales, production, and back office
• Lead from the front with a roll-up-your-sleeves operating style

Operational Excellence

• Implement, document, and enforce clear standard operating procedures
• Drive consistency, quality, safety, and efficiency across the business
• Ensure tight coordination between sales, production, and office teams
• Maintain a disciplined scheduling, procurement, and customer experience machine, winning through processes and strong leaders
• Retain strong operational discipline, systems usage, and reporting
• Deliver an excellent customer experience from first contact through project completion
• Maintain a 4.9+ Google rating with a steady flow of consistent customer reviews

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning and running a P&L
• Ability to build, motivate, and lead high-performing teams
• Solid financial acumen and comfort operating from KPIs
• Strong ownership mindset with a bias for action
• High integrity and commitment to ethical business practices
• Clear and confident communicator and leader
• Affinity for the blue collar workforce and willingness to lead from the front

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in roofing, construction, home services, military, or other blue-collar environments
• Strong sales leadership experience with measurable performance improvement
• Experience leading distributed or multi-location field teams
• Proficiency with field service management software (ServiceTitan or similar platforms)
