About the Role
The Company is in search of a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer to lead its prestigious and historic club. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, guiding the club's long-term initiatives while upholding its rich culture and membership experience. This role requires a visible and engaging individual with a proven track record in operational excellence, team development, and a commitment to best-in-class quality and service. The GM/COO will be responsible for all day-to-day management, including financial oversight, capital planning, and project execution. They must be a proactive partner to the Board, a champion of the club's values, and a unifying leader who fosters a sense of pride and purpose across the organization. Candidates for the GM/COO position at the company should have 7-10 years' of general management experience in similar high-quality, member-owned, or luxury hospitality operations. A strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and a focus on member-centric experiences is essential. The role demands a leader with impeccable integrity, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to mentor and develop a team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver, with a solutions-oriented mindset, and a commitment to maintaining the club's elite standards. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferred, and industry certifications such as CCM or CCE are encouraged.
