Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorJohnson Service Group, a nationally recognized recruiting firm is currently seeking a Quality Inspector for a highly reputable manufacturer in Ladson, SC supporting 3rd shift operations. Prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Responsibilities include performing incoming direct material verification and inspection, performing incoming outside vendor process certification, ensuring required material testing and analysis is completed, maintaining quality databases, supporting site audits, conducting root cause and corrective action activities, supporting inspection and gauging, maintaining quality records, and communicating quality or compliance concerns with urgency. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, experience utilizing calipers and micrometers, prior visual quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, excellent communication skills – verbal and written, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds as needed. Additional information includes a contract-to-hire role with paid holidays after 30 days, hiring for 3rd shift only with training on 1st shift 3rd shift hours: 10:00pm - 6:30am, compensation of $27.00/hr + $1.00/hr shift differential, and JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
