**Travel RN – MedSurg / PCU / Telemetry**

**Location:** Newport, Vermont
⏳ **Contract:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Nights, 7 PM–7 AM
**Hours:** 36 hours/week guaranteed
**Schedule:** Every other weekend
**EMR:** Cerner

### **Job Requirements**
* Active Vermont RN license
* Minimum **5 years of nursing experience**
* Critical Access Hospital, MedSurg, PCU, and Telemetry experience
* Current **ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications**
* Ability to work independently and perform charge nurse duties
* Willingness to float to ED and MCH units as needed

### **Key Responsibilities**
* Provide comprehensive MedSurg, PCU, and telemetry nursing care
* Monitor patients and respond to changing clinical conditions
* Perform charge nurse responsibilities and coordinate patient care
* Float to other departments based on hospital needs
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

### **Additional Details**
* Holiday coverage required
* Quarterly department education sessions required
* Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit
* Overtime after 40 hours/week
* W-2 only | No 1099
* No mileage reimbursement
