Green Life Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our telehealth team. This position will involve providing counseling services primarily to elderly patients facing diverse mental health challenges associated with aging.

Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while prioritizing the needs of our clients. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours required to accommodate client appointments. Our telehealth facility is equipped with secure virtual platforms that ensure confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory standards in delivering mental health services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs of elderly clients, integrating the use of evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team.

• Develop personalized treatment plans, including pre-crisis strategies, crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans that align with each client’s unique circumstances.

• Document all client interactions and treatment processes in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with both regulatory and organizational standards.
\n
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to implement effective positive behavior support plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards in geriatric mental health counseling.

• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the clinic's high standards of care.
\n
• Establish and maintain strong communication with community partners, state agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective service delivery and enhance access to resources for clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and state-level meetings relevant to geriatric mental health.

• Promote the organizational mission, values, and principles within the community through various outreach efforts and partnerships.

• Complete other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support overall clinic operations.

Your primary focus will be on elderly clients who are navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges, including grief, cognitive decline, and adjustment issues related to aging. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• A minimum of four years of recent experience specifically in geriatric counseling or mental health support.

• Proven ability to engage with elderly individuals, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building trust and rapport.

Compensation and Benefits\n
