Maintenance technician needed to support manufacturing operations at a medical device facility in Hayward. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and compliance documentation for production machinery and facility systems.
Responsibilities
- Repair and perform preventative maintenance on medical device manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Respond to equipment issues and unscheduled maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Document all maintenance work in CMMS following GDP and facility procedures
- Maintain spare parts inventory for assigned equipment areas
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades
Requirements
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience on automated manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) systems and electrical schematics
- Experience with motor controls, variable frequency drives, and high-speed packaging equipment
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Maximo preferred
- Understanding of cGMP regulations and facility safety procedures
- Fluent English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments with personal protective equipment
Compensation: $64,000-$88,000 base annually
