The company supports construction, industrial, infrastructure, and energy customers with a strong focus on uptime, utilization, cost discipline, and execution consistency.We are seeking a driven and analytical Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead execution rigor, safe work practices, and safety performance improvement across the organization.The EHS Manager is responsible for leading all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs across all Mustang Rental Services branch locations. This role focuses primarily on safety leadership, regulatory compliance, and injury prevention across operational teams, while maintaining working knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to an equipment rental environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, programs, and standards.Lead safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.Serve as the primary point of contact for OSHA and other regulatory agencies, including inspections and inquiries.Ensure audit-ready documentation, reporting, and corrective action tracking across safety and environmental programs.Partner with HR, Facilities, Operations, and Legal to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate safety and compliance risks.Lead safety training, drills, and compliance education to promote awareness and accountability across the organization.Establish consistent safety standards and scalable practices as the company grows and operations expand.Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.QualificationsEducation & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or similar credentials preferred.OSHA 500 and/or 501 preferred.ExperienceMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management within a regulated environment.Experience in equipment rental, industrial services, logistics, construction, or asset-intensive environments strongly preferredProven track record of driving execution improvements across multiple locations or teamsExperience directly managing teams and developing employeesStrong working knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety programsWorking knowledge of environmental compliance requirementsExperience managing regulatory inspections and auditsSkills & CompetenciesDecision Quality - Makes sound, timely decisions grounded in data, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.Drive for Results - Consistently achieves results and follows through on commitments in complex environments.Managing Through Systems - Establishes frameworks and controls to manage work effectively at scale.Collaborates - Builds strong partnerships across functions to achieve shared safety and compliance outcomes.Ability to influence without authority across branches and functional teamsStrong communication and change management skillsHigh comfort working in the field and with frontline teamsAttributesExecution-oriented and results-drivenStructured, disciplined, and data-focusedComfortable challenging the status quoHigh ownership mindset with strong follow-throughCheck out the Mustang Cat Anthem to see our mission in action!
