About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Management Information Systems (MIS) to lead all aspects of student data management, state compliance reporting, and information systems strategy. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of student data, serving as the primary authority on state and federal regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will own the end-to-end operation of the student information system, drive a culture of data integrity, and partner with school leaders and national teams to support enrollment growth and FTE funding accuracy. Key responsibilities include state reporting, regulatory compliance, FOCUS system management, data quality, and cross-functional leadership. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a field of study related to education, information systems, data analytics, or business. A minimum of 5 years' experience in K-12 education data management, MIS, or state reporting, with at least 3 years in a Florida public school district or charter management organization, is required. The role demands deep expertise in Florida K-12 education data systems, FDOE state reporting requirements, and experience with student information systems. Strong analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is familiarity with data privacy regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, the ability to build and sustain a culture of data accuracy, and a commitment to the mission of the organization.
