Shift: Day Schedule: Monday - Friday Position Summary The Medical Assistant - Behavioral Health is an ideal opportunity for those seeking to be an integral part of a multidisciplinary outpatient behavioral health clinic setting. If you love variety, have a customer service attitude, and exemplify professional diplomacy, this multidisciplinary role is for you. You will engage with patient customers while working closely with your clinical team to provide excellent customer service and patient care. Responsibilities You will perform direct and indirect patient care in a clinical area, assisting medical staff with patient care and follow-up You will utilize your knowledge towards the integration of available standards, resources, and data You will assist with office duties as needed, applying your discretion, good judgment, and diplomacy towards the excellent office and patient care management Partner by implementing your service-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and solid decision-making capacities You will effectively prioritize and apply organization and flexibility to your work duties Requirements Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) Current BLS Certification One (1) year of clinic or hospital experience preferred About Greater Lakes Mental Health Greater Lakes Mental Health is part of MultiCare’s Behavioral Health Network, serving more than 10,000 individuals across Pierce County each year. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay range is $24.83 - $35.71 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, and certifications. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the applicable step on the pay scale.
