Phlebotomist Specialist-IOP

Job Title Phlebotomist – Atlanta, GA Work Schedule Monday-Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with 1‑hour lunch break; Saturdays may be included. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other required analyses. Enter patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Site Locations Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or a client office and may travel to additional sites. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. Three or more years of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Five or more years of phlebotomy experience. Two or more years of OB/GYN phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency. Proven track record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
