About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: CRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RRT or CRT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Epic experience required; NICU experience is a plus Description: Cross posting opportunity available. Candidates should be aware that upon accepting an assignment, they may be assigned to an "Emergency Team." There is an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or become part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed for each emergency event as impacts vary. Holiday availability is required for two of four designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Candidates must be willing to work required shifts. Weekend coverage is expected every other weekend. The patient care ratio is 1:4. Experience with adult critical care, emergency department, extubation, intubation assist, nasal airway placement, and tracheostomy care is essential. Child and geriatric patient care experience is also beneficial. Level 3 NICU experience is appreciated but not mandatory. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. The role involves providing respiratory care to neonates, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-paced environment. A strong understanding of troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation is crucial. Resources must meet specific compliance standards to be considered for the position. References from previous supervisors may be required for clearance. Certification documents must be submitted in the specified format.
