About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: CRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: RRT or CRT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Epic experience required; Experience with adult critical care; Weekend coverage every other weekend; NRP credential preferred for NICU rotation. Description: Cross Posting - Corresponding Job ID 3484696. Upon accepting this assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract, you acknowledge and will report as assigned by your unit manager in an emergency event. Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually. Holiday assignments are based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation. Level 3 NICU experience is a plus, but adult care is the main need. If willing to rotate in NICU, NRP credential is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Pediatric population is only serviced in the Emergency Department. Interdisciplinary support is available in respiratory services. Must have 2 years of experience in specialty for all locations. An emergency credential is required for compliance. References from previous managers or supervisors will be required to obtain clearance to start. Charge RNs are not accepted.
