Flex Security Officers - $18/hr

Flex Security Officer – Batavia, OH. Pay: $18.00/hr, paid weekly. Hiring immediately. Responsibilities A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Flex Officer Role Details The Flex Officer position provides trained, competent support by working shifts that become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes, enabling uninterrupted service and protecting personnel health and work balance. Scheduling Expectations Trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need; may work at a specific post or location for several weeks depending on need; not a permanent assignment. Schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week) will vary based on operational need. Will be assigned or offered shifts as they become available due to staffing needs. Some shifts will be scheduled in advance; sometimes called on short notice to cover an absent employee. Expected to work any scheduled shift within availability; must notify supervisor if unavailable. For short‑notice call‑ins, expected to work at least 80% of the shifts called; refusing more than 20% of call‑in shifts could negatively impact employment status. Qualifications & Requirements Previous security, law enforcement, and/or military experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work various shifts, days, weekends, and holidays. Must be flexible and team oriented. 1+ years of experience in a customer service role. Exceptional report writing skills. Must be reliable. Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent.
