GENERAL SUMMARYPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to processing incoming and outgoing shipments parts as assigned.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS•Maintains inventory integrity by performing cycle count activities and all other related functions.•Fills and issuing orders and/or back orders to authorized personnel.•Housekeeping practices in the shipping and receiving areas.•Loads trucks and UPS shipments.•Performs basic machine assembly when necessary.•Indicates routing and arranging for proper shipping procedures.•Abides by all policies, procedures, and guidelines of the company including good common sense safety practices.•Adheres to the Company Core Values: Performance Driven, Quality in All We Do, Act with Integrity and Professionalism, Collaborative Continuous Improvement, Be Safe, and Impress the Customer.•Adheres to the Company CARE Initiative: Commitment, Accountability, Responsiveness, Effort•Performs all job assignments as instructed by the Group Lead, Manufacturing Supervisor, Plant Manager and/or Vice President, Operations.POSITION IMPACTThe Shipping/Receiving Clerk is the front-line role for processing orders and rectifying inventory issues.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREDEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus three years related shipping/receiving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and training.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to other employees of the organization.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNone Required.A background and drug screening will be conducted for employment purposes.
