5.1. Director of Sales

Responsibilities Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives long-term revenue through multi-year supply and offtake agreements. Identify, evaluate, and pursue new revenue opportunities aligned with Phoenix Tailings’ growth and expansion plans. Build and manage relationships with customers, strategic partners, and key external stakeholders. Structure and negotiate commercial agreements that support long-term supply, offtake, and strategic collaboration. Represent Phoenix Tailings externally with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. Develop market intelligence and competitive insights to inform pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy. Work closely with internal teams to translate commercial commitments into executable operational plans. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in sales, commercial leadership, or account management in industrial, materials, or energy markets. Proven track record of originating and closing complex commercial or strategic agreements. Experience working with industrial, energy, materials, infrastructure, or government-adjacent markets. Strong ability to build credibility and trust with senior external stakeholders. Experience negotiating and structuring long-term commercial contracts. Strong strategic judgment paired with a bias toward execution. Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
