Service Technician II ($31.93)

When: Thursday, May 14th | 12:00PM - 3:00PM Meeting Room: Great Room 1 Parking: Self- Park, street parking outside the Great Room Need to Know: Bring printed copy of your resume, apply prior to attending, and dress in professional attire Position Summary The Service Technician II executes maintenance operations across the operating unit, including complex service requests, vacant apartment maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, and community-wide projects utilizing established quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Ensures community common areas and grounds are consistently maintained to company standards, proactively identifying and resolving any potential hazards. Provides excellent customer service by anticipating customer's needs, addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally. Executes all resident service requests (work orders), preventative maintenance schedules, and performs quality turn service for vacant units. Diagnoses and repairs operational issues in appliances, mechanical, and building systems, ensuring timely service call follow-up, status updates, and response to after-hours emergencies. Maintains accurate records of work performed utilizing the appropriate operating platform. Preferred Education High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent experience Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience 1 - 3 years Additional Requirements Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 608 Certification (Core and Type II) Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual ability is a plus. The physical requirements for this position include: Below waist lift - 77lbs, Above waist lift - 45lbs, Push/pull (walking) - 118lbs force, Stooping/work bending over (sustained) - Occasional, Unilateral balance - Average of 20 seconds or more per leg. Travel between communities may be required daily. Ability to perform these functions at multiple sites is required. After hours on-call support as needed Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company’s MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)
