Position Purpose: The Staff Accountant (TEMP) will partner closely with AP & Assistant Controllers and play an integral role in our monthly accounting processes.

*This is a temporary 3-4 month assignment.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Post GL entries on a weekly/monthly basis to process transactions of the business including AR transactions, Cash transactions and Corporate Credit Card transactions
• Reconcile & Post AMEX Statement transactions with proper GL coding.
• Assist in the month-end close process and ensure reporting deadlines are adhered to.
• Process House Account transactions as needed daily from the locations.
• Perform bank reconciliations for assigned bank accounts on a monthly basis.
• Help to manage the Corporate Credit Card platform (adjust limits after approval, add or remove cards, etc...)
• Assist with the preparation of various ad-hoc analysis as needed by the business
• Excellent problem-solving skills with good intuition.

Minimal Essential Requirements:

• The ability to work as part of a team and superior organization.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Wide breadth of accounting experience
• Exceptional ability to handle a high-volume fast-paced work environment.
• Aptitude for numbers, quantitative and analytical skills. Excellent problem-solving skills with good intuition
