Staff Physician

Comprehensive Community Health Centers Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center, seeks a Staff Physician to provide high-quality primary care to underserved, diverse patients across multiple Los Angeles clinics. The physician will deliver comprehensive adult and/or pediatric care, including preventive, chronic disease management, and urgent care services within a patient-centered medical home model. Role includes supervising support staff, collaborating with behavioral health and dental providers, documenting in the EHR, participating in quality improvement, and supporting culturally competent, team-based care that advances health equity and community wellness. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to diverse adult and/or pediatric patients Conduct preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute visits Document all encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Coordinate care with behavioral health, dental, and other team members Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives Supervise and collaborate with nursing and clinical support staff Ensure culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, patient-centered care Provide patient education and counseling on treatment and prevention Follow FQHC, regulatory, and evidence-based clinical guidelines Participate in after-hours or on-call coverage as needed Required Skills Primary care diagnosis and treatment Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) Preventive medicine and wellness care Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Minor office procedures Care coordination and population health management Evidence-based clinical decision-making Culturally competent communication Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) preferred Quality improvement and panel management #J-18808-Ljbffr Comprehensive Community Health Centers
