The ideal candidate will be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Maternal and Fetal Medicine. The Fresno area offers a central location between Los Angeles and San Francisco with just a 3-hour drive to the Pacific Coast, 45 minutes from the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and close proximity to three national parks, including Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia. The successful applicant will be a physician (MD or DO) who is board certified or board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine and has successfully completed an accredited Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship. The practice mix includes inpatient obstetrics in a busy unit with a level 3 NICU, ultrasound, antenatal procedures, consultations, and office visits. Involvement in deliveries is optional but not expected. As partners with the UC Davis ObGyn residency program, teaching and mentoring opportunities are abundant. Opening in San Francisco, California Kaiser Permanente San Francisco is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist to join our 4-person team and expand our obstetric ultrasound services in South San Francisco and San Rafael. The position includes approximately 25% hospital coverage, 25% office practice, and a significant 50% dedicated to ultrasound prenatal diagnosis. Our MFM group works closely with residents, providing invaluable teaching and research support. We take pride in our outstanding residency program, which receives over 700 applications each year for only four positions. Approximately 30% of our residents continue their training in fellowship programs. The MFM team conducts monthly didactic teaching sessions and supervises residents in caring for both hospitalized and office patients. Kaiser Permanente San Francisco performs approximately 2,700 deliveries per year and features a Level 3 ICN. Additionally, it is the designated location for the Adult Congenital Heart Program for Northern California Kaiser, serving as a crucial referral center for Marin County, Daly City, and the northern Peninsula. Opening in Vacaville, California The Kaiser Permanente Napa Solano Area (NSA) Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Division is seeking a full-time, full-scope, board-certified/board-eligible MFM specialist to join our expanding, collaborative team of two MFM physicians supporting obstetric care across Vallejo, Vacaville, Napa, and Fairfield. The primary clinical site for this position will be the Vacaville Medical Center, with additional clinical responsibilities at the Vallejo Medical Center. This role offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive MFM in a well-supported, integrated system while serving a diverse and medically complex patient population.
