Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• CST required
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Competency with Robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopies
• Experience with gynecology and genitourinary procedures
• Ability to work with patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics

Assignment Details:

• Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
• Call requirement: one overnight trauma call from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Specialty team call follows team-specific scheduling rules.
• Equipment used includes Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot
• EMR: Epic
