Restaurant Manager with USA clientele About the company Grand Circle Corporation is the largest U.S. provider of international vacations for Americans aged 50 and older. About the job Responsible for delivering an exceptional beverage and dining service for our travelers in accordance with Grand Circle Cruise Line (GCCL) standards, while contributing to a positive work environment. Responsibilities: • leading, coordinating, supporting, motivating, training, and evaluating restaurant and bar staff • monitoring and ensuring beverage and dining service is up to the highest standards • Ensuring hygiene and maintenance of all service area is being upheld • Responsible for ordering, margins, POS transactions, cost and stock control • Handling and resolving travelers concerns • any other duties advised by Hotel Manager Skills/Qualifications: • hotel school diploma or basic education equivalent is preferred • minimum 2 years of experience in the field of desired position, preferably on passenger ship or in a 4 or 5 star restaurant and/or hotel • cruise ship experience is a plus • proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills • highly guest orientation • good knowledge and understanding of bar and restaurant menus • team-leading skills • strong organizational and computer skills • fluency in English • eligibility to work in EUWhat we offer: • competitive pay package with a bonus scheme tailored to the position • tips • paid vacation • travel allowance • free accommodation • free food and beverage • free wi-fi • free shore excursions • special discounts on onboard shop • access to gym and wellness area • 50 % discount on onboard massages • medical insurance coverage by private insurance company Place of work: European union
