Technical Support Specialist

Requirements Must have: We require a bachelors degree, or a certificate from an accredited IT program plus five years of relevant experience in place of the degree. We require at least two years of experience in information technology, including Windows and Mac desktop support, macOS, printers, copiers, projectors, video conferencing systems, Active Directory and Azure account administration, helpdesk ticketing systems, and Microsoft 365 applications. We prefer experience with JAMF Pro MDM and JAMF Certified Admin credentials. We prefer experience supporting Adobe Creative Cloud applications. We need strong proficiency with Apple and Microsoft products, including computers, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, macOS, Windows 10, and Dell laptops and desktops, as well as Canon, Ricoh, and HP printers. We require strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the wider community. We require clear oral and written communication skills. We value a self-motivated team player who pursues continuing education and certifications. We require the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Responsibilities: We provide technical support to students, faculty, staff, and classrooms across hardware, software, computers, and instructional technology. We install and troubleshoot classroom technologies such as interactive smartboards, projectors, printers, digital displays, Apple TVs, and related systems. We support Active Directory and Azure network and email account administration. We work with helpdesk ticketing systems, networked printers, and network file shares. We collaborate with our IT team to research, test, and recommend emerging educational technologies. We stay current through ongoing learning to strengthen support for in-house technology.
