Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room – Full Time – Day Shift. About the Role As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at North Alabama Medical Center, you will utilize advanced plan-of-care interventions, support complex surgical procedures, and deliver compassionate post‑operative care. You will collaborate across disciplines, coordinate patient care, and participate in on‑call rotations. Responsibilities Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs Qualifications Current state RN license Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred) Basic Life Support (required) ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care (preferred) Experience preferred; new graduates welcomed to apply Schedule Monday through Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM with on‑call participation, including extended hours during the week and weekend on‑call coverage.
