This role focuses on everything outside of production equipment, including utilities, building systems, and site infrastructure. This role plays a key part in maintaining uptime, safety, and efficiency across the facility. What Makes This Role Different Fast Pay Progression: Increase to $37.77/hour (including shift differential) within 3–4 months through structured training Broad System Exposure: Work across utilities and facility systems (boilers, HVAC, compressed air, electrical) Skill Growth: Opportunity to expand beyond a single craft into multi-system troubleshooting Industry Training: On-the-job boiler training through Cleaver-Brooks, a leading manufacturer in boiler systems Stable Schedule: Consistent 3-2-2 night shift with built-in days off Key Responsibilities Utilities & Facility Systems Maintain and support systems including Steam Systems, HVAC/R, Chilled Water, Compressed Air, Vacuum, Electrical Power Distribution, Natural Gas, Fire Sprinkler Systems, City Water Monitor system performance and respond to issues impacting plant operations Troubleshooting & Repair Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and equipment manuals Use testing equipment (multimeter, amp meter, etc.) to identify root causes Preventative Maintenance & Reliability Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability Complete work orders and document maintenance activities accurately Support equipment upgrades, overhauls, and continuous improvement efforts Team & Operational Support Communicate effectively across shifts to ensure continuity Partner with vendors and contractors as needed Maintain a safe work environment and follow all plant safety and quality standards Basic Qualifications 2–4 years of maintenance experience in industrial, facilities, or building systems Technical training or degree in HVAC, Mechanical Systems, Electrical, or related field Experience in the following: Electrical troubleshooting Mechanical maintenance HVAC or facilities systems Ability to read and interpret basic electrical diagrams or schematics Follow all safety policies and actively support plant safety initiatives Experience in maintaining accurate documentation and support quality standards across operations Comply with GMP, HACCP, and KHMS standards Preferred Qualifications Experience working with plant utilities (boilers, steam, compressed air, etc.) Multi-craft maintenance experience (electrical + mechanical) Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems and work orders Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to work night shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, elevated platforms) Ability to operate or learn equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts Benefits & Wellbeing We offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, financial security, and overall wellbeing, including: Medical, Dental, Vision Paid Time Off and Holidays 401(k) and Financial Protection Plans Employee Assistance and Wellbeing Programs Benefits: Coverage for employees (and their eligible dependents) through affordable access to healthcare, protection, and saving for the future, we offer plans tailored to meet you and your family’s needs.
