# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Medical-Surgical – Tennessee

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday); weekdays flexible. Day shift patient ratios 5-6:1; night shift ratios 6:1.

• 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit with comprehensive support staff including unit secretaries and 2-3 patient care technicians per shift
• Advanced equipment including Sara Steady lifts, wound vac therapy, telehealth technology, virtual sitter equipment, and remote telemetry monitoring
• Meditech electronic medical record system for streamlined documentation
• PRN floating policy, primarily within medical-surgical units when needed
• Opportunities to perform clinical procedures including IV and Foley catheter placement
• Two positions available for qualified candidates

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale and CPI certifications preferred
• Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
• Experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems required
• Commitment to patient experience standards including bedside shift report and hourly rounding
