Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth and academic success in a collaborative educational environment. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll provide essential services across two elementary sites in the area, contributing expertise where the need is greatest. From the start of the school year, your role will offer vital support as a valued team member, supporting assessment and intervention caseloads.

This role is full time, Monday through Friday from 8am–3pm, with assignments divided between a general education/preschool setting and moderate-to-moderate needs classes. You’ll serve as supplemental support rather than the primary SLP at each site, giving you the chance to assist with high-need case loads and perform assessments to help manage service overloads. Each day brings variety, as you rotate school locations throughout the week.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience working with school-aged children and preschoolers, preferably in educational settings
• Flexibility to travel between assigned school sites
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
• California SLP licensure preferred by the district (not required)

Responsibilities include:

• Providing speech/language therapy services to students as assigned
• Assisting existing SLPs with overflow caseloads and assessment needs
• Maintaining accurate records and progress documentation
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
