Responsibilities Focus on building new relationships with carrier partners across the country and growing existing ones. Sharpen your negotiation and customer service skills alongside our team. Build internal relationships with our business development team members and work together to find the best solution for Speedy clients. Emphasize service – you will be measured on KPI’s such as on-time deliveries, accurate rate confirmations, proactive tracking, and obtaining POD’s. Qualifications A strong work ethic is essential. If hard work does not come naturally to you, this may not be a good fit. Minimum 5+ years of experience in cradle to grave truckload brokerage Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to get things done over the phone, through email, and face to face. Experience with DAT is a must, along with strong carrier vetting capabilities Develop new and grow existing carrier relationships (lead generation, cold calling, and referrals) Negotiate price, drive process and improve efficiency Identify issues and work cross functionally to improve service and find better solutions #J-18808-Ljbffr
