Candidate Behaviors Develops our People: Builds talent and teams for Citi by creating a culture of meritocracy and transparency, and celebrating excellence, initiative and courage Drives Value for Clients: Enables economic value and positive social impact for clients, companies, governments, and communities Works as a Partner: Works collaboratively across the firm and encourages others to achieve the best results for Citi and our clients Champions Progress: Champions a culture of high standards, pushes for progress, embraces change and challenges the status quo in support of Citi’s vision and global strategy Lives our Values: Ensures systematically responsible outcomes while driving performance and balancing short and long term risks Delivers Results: Sets high standards and achieves performance objectives by creating a clear path toward ethical and sustainable results Responsibilities Support new asset‑based deal opportunities with an analysis of capital structure, borrowing base, credit profile, market comparables, and industry research Develop targeted prospecting lists; join Senior Transactors in client and prospect meetings to develop and sustain enduring relationships Assist in the creation of pitch materials; screen opportunities; propose appropriate structures; work alongside Underwriting to green‑light transactions; draft and negotiate term sheets with clients (interfacing with legal counsel); work with underwriting partners to shepherd internal approvals; negotiate legal documentation and manage an efficient closing process Interface with banker coverage and other partners to coordinate execution of transactions and to effectively meet deal timelines Exhibit business and credit judgment and provide balanced assessments when working with internal team members and partners Maintain a strong attention to detail and complete work in assigned timeframes Requirements A minimum of 2‑3 years of experience in Asset Based Finance Bachelor’s degree Skills Strong financial, analytic, and credit skills Experience in working with complex capital structures Team player, able to facilitate strong partnerships Excellent written and presentation skills Benefits Citi offers competitive employee benefits, including medical, dental & vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident, and disability insurance; and wellness programs.
