Step Into a Day on Our HVAC Team

Based in Newport News, VA, you’ll start your day reviewing your schedule of mostly residential service calls, with the occasional commercial visit to keep things interesting. You load up, head to your first home, and greet the customer with a clear plan. By mid-morning, you’re diagnosing a performance issue, selecting the right tools, and restoring comfort. After lunch, you’re completing a preventative maintenance check, documenting your work, and sharing tips with the homeowner. You wrap up by ensuring safety standards were met on every task and noting any materials used for accurate records.

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems—primarily in residential homes, with some light commercial assignments.
• Pinpoint and resolve system problems to achieve peak efficiency and performance.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections on a variety of equipment.
• Deliver clear, friendly communication and outstanding customer care at every visit.
• Maintain thorough, accurate job notes and material logs.
• Follow all safety practices and industry codes on each job site.
• Keep your skills sharp by learning new technologies and best practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training preferred.
• Current HVAC certification and applicable licenses.
• Demonstrated experience as an HVAC technician, especially in residential environments.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and a service-first mindset.
• Comfort working solo or collaborating with a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
