Job Title: Outpatient Clinic RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Urology Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Oregon RN License required Certifications: ONC certification preferred but not required Must-Have: Highly rated catheter skills Comfortable with repeated daily catheterization of both males and females Experience with suprapubic catheter changes Description: This is a Clinic RN role in a growing Urology Clinic. An RN in this role should have strong catheter skills as indicated on the skills checklist for Urology. The RN should be comfortable with repeated daily catheterization of both males and females. Experience with suprapubic catheter changes is a plus. The patient diagnoses include various types of cancer, incontinence, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), erectile dysfunction, renal calculus, voiding dysfunction, overactive bladder, urinary retention, male urinary tract infections, circumcision, and undescended testicles. The role involves working with a daily patient census of around 100 and an estimated number of visits per day being 15. The clinic operates with an interdisciplinary support team. Special procedures include urinary catheterization and suprapubic catheter changes. The RN will utilize EPIC for charting patient information. Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing role. This position does not require weekend shifts or on-call duty. Locals and true travelers are accepted for this role.
