Landscape Laborers play a vital role in transforming residential and mixed-use outdoor spaces through hands-on site preparation, planting, and maintenance tasks. Working primarily with basic hand and power tools, these laborers operate within small crews, especially during peak seasons in spring and summer, to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sites by clearing debris and leveling terrain
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design specifications
- Perform weeding and apply mulch to maintain healthy landscapes
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Remove debris to maintain clean and safe work environments
- Comply with safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate closely with team members to meet project goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in landscaping
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques and basic plant care
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Physical stamina for manual labor tasks
- Strong teamwork and time management skills
- Awareness of safety practices in outdoor work environments
