Key Responsibilities For The Controller Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll coordination, and monthly close. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, inventory reports, and balance sheet reconciliations. Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting activities. Manage job profitability reporting and reconcile sales and operational data. Evaluate capital expenditures and analyze return on investment performance. Mentor, develop, and manage accounting staff while strengthening financial controls and processes. Qualifications For The Controller Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with 3+ years of leadership experience. Strong background in GAAP, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and job costing. Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred; CPA designation preferred.
