Controller

Global Gear & Machining seeks a Controller for our plant in Downers Grove, IL. We are a gear manufacturer located in Downers Grove, IL, with easy access from the I-355 expressway. Essential Job Functions Directs financial activities of an organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Oversees accounts payable & accounts receivable. Establishes, or recommends to management, economic strategies, objectives, and policies for the company. Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations. Directs preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification. Develops and maintains the financial systems of the company. Designs and maintains the company's cost accounting system. Participates in new business development activities, including quoting, assets deployment and capital budgeting. Involved in all contract reviews with customers and supplies. Provides management with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities. Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies. Monitors operating cash flow. Performs cycle counts & inventory management. Responsible for the job closing process to ensure variances are captured on a monthly basis. Maintains standard costing of products & monitors exceptions to propose changes. Reports financial reports to the corporation on a regular basis. Promotes Quality Objectives. Cycle Count process Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education – Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S) from a four-year College or university Salary Pay range $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year plus bonus potential #J-18808-Ljbffr Global Gear & Machining LLC
