Role Description The Human Resources Generalist is a full‑time, on‑site role based in either Mahwah, NJ or Bethel, CT, with monthly travel to our five locations, responsible for supporting the full range of HR activities for a growing manufacturing‑focused organization. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include administering and updating HR policies, managing employee records, managing payroll systems/processing, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. The role coordinates employee benefits and benefits administration, assists with payroll‑related data, and responds to employee inquiries with timely and accurate information. The HR Generalist will help implement performance management processes, support training and development initiatives, and assist with employee relations matters to maintain a positive and compliant workplace. This position collaborates with leadership and managers to ensure HR practices align with company goals and employment regulations. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, including support across multiple HR functions. Strong knowledge of HR Policies and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Hands‑on experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration in a multi‑site or manufacturing environment, including annual 401k audits and 5500 filings. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization. Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office; strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
