EmployPro Staffing is hiring a CNC Machinist – Day Shift
Location: Decatur, AL.
Pay Rate: $31.00–$37.00/hour
Shift: Day Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for competitive pay and a consistent day-shift schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Load and unload materials and properly secure workpieces
- Make machine adjustments and offsets as needed
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make appropriate adjustments
- Change tooling and perform routine machine maintenance
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machining experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and setup
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ability to make machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic machining issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
