Senior QA Engineer

Tasks

• Defining and executing test strategies for platform enhancements and releases throughout the project delivery.
• Creating and executing integration test scenarios across CMS, APIs, product data platforms, configuration repositories, frontend applications and release environments.
• Building and maintaining automated UI and functional test suites using modern testing frameworks such as Playwright or equivalent tools.
• Leveraging AI-assisted testing techniques to improve test creation, test maintenance, coverage analysis, defect investigation, and QA productivity.
• Developing and executing performance, load, stress, endurance and reliability testing using JMeter or other performance testing frameworks.
• Performing exploratory and manual testing where automation is not appropriate or where business, data, regulatory or release sign-off requires human validation.
• Owning regression testing activities across environments throughout project work and ongoing release activities.
• Producing clear test evidence, validation reports and release certification notes.
• Partnering with engineers to identify defects early, expand automated coverage and improve shift-left quality practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering or Test Automation.
• Strong experience with automated UI and functional testing frameworks, preferably Playwright.
• Strong experience designing and executing integration testing strategies across distributed systems, APIs, and data-driven applications.
• Experience with performance, load, stress and endurance testing, preferably using JMeter.
• Experience building and maintaining automated regression suites within CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management, root-cause analysis, release readiness, and release certification processes.
• Experience validating REST APIs, backend services, data integrations, and configuration-driven applications.
• Experience with manual, exploratory, and business-facing testing where hands-on validation is required.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and responsive web application validation.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar work management platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance test automation engineering with hands-on manual validation and sign-off support where required.

Nice to have

• Experience testing React, Angular or other large-scale JavaScript-based web applications.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, CMS-driven websites or large-scale public web platforms.
• Experience testing product data, regulatory disclosures, fund information or financial services platforms.
• Familiarity with JavaScript / TypeScript development practices.
• Experience validating AI-assisted workflows, GenAI-enabled applications or AI-accelerated testing processes.
• Experience with visual regression testing, synthetic monitoring and production observability tools.
• Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience supporting release windows, post-deployment validation and production issue triage.
