As a merit-based organization, Athletic Brewing offers expansive opportunities for career advancement, skills-building, and accumulating new and exciting responsibilities for high achievers.Job Responsibilities:Build and leverage financial models to forecast all facets of the business, as well as ad-hoc projects and opportunitiesOn a monthly basis, compare company results to budget and perform variance analysisEvaluate company spend and projects to provide insights on how to best allocate company funds and assess the return on investment of projects and processesWork directly with other departments, in particular Marketing and Sales, to help report on and evaluate projects and key initiatives. Leverage data to help departments assess best performing channels of spendCreate and maintain KPI dashboards, and track and analyze business metrics; gain an understanding of multiple systems and data sources to drive visibility into key business metricsCreate presentations that include financial results and analysis to all levels of management as well as to external partiesOther duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.Desired Experience/ TraitsWho You Are:Curiosity and excitement to solve problemsMentality that no task is too big or too smallCapability to receive ongoing feedback and avoid making the same mistake twiceAbility to be a self starter; create outputs from scratch without the reliance of templatesExceptional quantitative skills and high business acumenStrong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, listening, critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills.Honest, dependable, has high integrity, is a team player, and is passionate.Skills and Experience:Experience: 3+ years in a finance role, preferably in a data-driven business environmentComputer Skills: Microsoft Excel required; demonstrated ability to learn new systems quicklyCertificates, Licenses, registrations: CPA or CFA a plusEducation: A Bachelor’s degree is required with a major in Finance, Accounting, or EconomicsJob Details:Location: Located onsite at our Milford, CT brewery.
